Ami Allyson Dobelle
Ami Dobelle has been professionally working with domestic and exotic species since 1997.
Ami relocated to the New York/New Jersey area after living in the Florida Keys for about 4 years. During her time in Florida, she worked as a Marine Mammal Trainer. She has worked with various species of animals such as dolphins, sea lions, penguins, and raptors. She also has worked on the training and conditioning of many species of sharks, sea turtles, sting rays, and tropical fish.
Once relocating to New Jersey, Ami focused her training experiences and skills on the training domestic dogs and helping owners with their 4-legged family members! She also worked at the Central Park Zoo in New York City as an Education Instructor, where she once again was able to work various exotic animals on conditioning and training.
Besides the great private and group dog training lessons that she offers, Ami also works during the day at the world famous Bronx Zoo as an Elementary Education Instrutor within the Education Department. She works with various exotic animals for the programs offered at the zoo.
